hey guys, i just joined www.southfloridastangs.net there's a lot of awesome mustang owners from miami, palm beaches, etc. there's weekly gatherings and we'd love to hear from you and hopefully see you there!
I'll be down in Port St. Lucie around Christmas. My brother and I go to Moroso when I'm down there. He has a stang too. We almost went there last Sat. for the race, but I had to be family guy instead of car guy.
There used to be pretty good group of street racers there but I think the crack down on that sort of activity kind of put a damper on the get togethers. The last time we went out for a "meeting" we met at the usual meeting place. There was a bunch of mustangs some chevys and a handful of imports. A couple guys did a little racing on US1 and then everyone decided to go somewhere more private. The first location was split up after the cops found it. Then, at the next location there was some cool racing including a TT 300 ZX and a turbo sand rail. That all ended with a good ol boy running us off with a shot gun. There was a meteor shower and lots of cars. What a great evening. It all ended with everyone running for cover and a really sweet black stang upside down in a drainage canal. I felt for that guy but it was a great time otherwise. Who ever said street racing was dangerous?

I'm at UCF in Orlando, but from Sarasota, FL
First mustang was a 1967 Coupe... bought it for $3k, but $5k into it, sold it for $5k.
Then used that to buy my '94 GT vert, now I'm lookin to sell her and buy a classic again... probably '67 mustang.
