Default Performance shops in CFL

So where do all you OT guys for your performance needs in CFL? Looking for a good performance place close to me that has done alot of good work.. not a hole in the wall place that never touched Stangs. Ive heard Lamotta, but theyre kinda far away and Ive heard they expensive, anywhere else you guys go?

Also, any good stereo, custom interior, show quality body shop, etc recomendations would be great.

There's a few in Tampa, and in clearwater, but you would be looking at around a 1 1/2 hr to 2 hr drive.

www.racerelated.com off the top of my head.

Yea, they are extremely expensive. I got my quote for suspension work over the phone and never thought about them again. I ended up going to RSP (Real Street Performance). Great pricing, and good quality work. It isn't too far either, it's off 17-92 and 436. I have been back twice to get work done, and will go no where else for shop work. http://www.realstreetperformance.com/ Give Justin a call and talk him through what you would like done, he can easily give you estimates of time and price. He is a great guy.

Oh yea, and as far as working on Mustangs..when I first showed up there were 3 full drag foxes, a mach and SC 97 Cobra 2nd time I went by, actually was when the pic on the site was taken. My fox was waiting for that Ford GT to get off the lift in order to get my work started. Excellent visual resume if you ask me

^RaceRelated. - Thats looks exactly like what Im looking for... except for the fact that its 2 hours away. I like the fact that they can handle custom fabrication and complete engine assemblies. Most places Ive talked to so far wont even touch the words "built engine" or "custom" anything.

I remember you telling me about RSP before. Ive got them on the list and plan to give them a call once I get my gameplan laid out. I talked to a friend that had some stuff done there and he said they were good but they didnt want to build him a shortblock and didnt really say why, just that they "couldnt at the time being". Theyre right by where I used to work so Im gonna give them a try and take it down there, explain what I want done and see what they can do for me. I eventually want a built engine though and would rather do ALL of my work through one place and not have to switch from one place to another... so if they wont do a built engine in the future then its a definate no-go.

Powered by Ford in downtown orlando
Right off of East Kaley and I-4
Bit of an old-school tuning shop but they REALLY know their stuff. Labor is great and any part you need they will get for you. They have a great engine shop and can P&P almost anything. Website is poweredbyford.com
If you call them ask for Mark. He can help you out. Last time I was there they had an 03GT Vert with +500 whp for a quick sale price of 12K. My 85 is down there right now getting the full workup, and I couldn't be happier with their work ethics and support.
