Springfield...where I see a lot of BMW's, Lexus, Acura, Mercedes...what else am I missing?

Where do we hang out around here? I've been in the area for less than a year and have no idea where to go. Probably haven't looked hard enough. Anyway, I'm bored. Car is at Springfield Motorsports getting a V3 install and will not be done until Tuesday...I'm going crazy driving around in a civic on such a beautiful day.

anyone know of a place in the Norfolk area I can take my car to and just drive as hard as I want? like a parking lot but 'closed' and where the cops won't bust me?

 

Hey fella, unfortunately you're not going to get that in the immediate Norfolk/ VA Beach area. When I was stationed there, the cops were in the most completely random places. You pretty much have to get out of that vicinity if you want to have some real fun with less worry...and I mean west and definitely not south going into NC. I remember places out in Suffolk being awesome, even though I know it's been developed over the last few years or so.

 

darn, oh well...thanks. suffolk has a track too I heard? know if that's right? I'm actually in the newport news area and langley has a track but no way am I goin there

I was told by a friend that there is a meeting near Dariy queen (Little Creek) in a parking lot every saturday afternoon. I don't know if this is true or not but verification would be great. Also I am looking for a club to check out to see what a mustang club is really all about. I dont know much about the vehicle itself (when it comes to the maintenance and repair) but I would really love to learn. I have a stock 1993 GT that needs a lot of work done. anyways, if anyone could feel me in, that would be great!
