"Plant City, 30min east of Tampa"

Hey MTAS, I'll see you at the state fair this month and the strawberry festival next month. Also, if you a true blue plant city boy, you need to put some extra wax on your drivers side door. (That there chewin tobacky will eat right through your paint.) Also, make sure you wax the passenger side door, if'in you got's you a plant city girl ridin shotgun with a wad of redman in her cheek. And although that doesn't apply to me, but man oh man you are dead on the mark as far as describing a lot of the residents of Plant City - a visit to our local Wal-Mart will prove that It seems like the latest trend I've noticed around here is to have what sounds like a 2000 watt sound system all pumped through a single 6" speaker in the dash. It's loud as hell, sounds like crap and is irritating to say the least.

THANK GOD, you're not. 25 years ago, it might have, applied to all in PC. Funny story: About 15 years ago, I was in Ybor city, when it was actually safe.. I was talking to 2 hotties from Sweeden (I swear, I was there.) When two guys, one of them might have been named Orville, but I'm not sure, approached us and the girls asked them where they were from. They were wearing overalls, goofy straw hats, and maybe a piece of wheat hanging out of their months. They replied, "Plant City, Ma'am." I really thought they were joking, but soon I realized they were not. I swear, they looked like they had just finished a taping of Hee-Haw.

Well, anyway, I'm glad you are not like that. I have several friends from PC and I occasionally razz them a little, and they razz me back, being from New York originally. I would hate the thought of your stang ending up on blocks later on, surrounded by 3 feet tall weeds. If it does, however, call me up before the grass gets too high so I can buy some parts from ya.
