mustang magic is great. just hard to get a appointment. i havent heard any bad things about them i have been using them for quite awhile with my 07 and my previous 95 gt 5.0. never had a issue with them and the owner joe treated my very nice even got to hang out in the back to watch the mechanics do my gears and steeda front and rear sway bars. i highly recommend them. go to www.mustangmagic.comand check them out.

Anyone know of a place to get them done for around $500 in Louisiana?

Ok, I finally bought a set of 373's. Can any one give me a name and approximate price of a reputable shop in the Tampa/Clearwater area?

Ramsey's Performance over by TPA is a good shop. Maybe expensive, but they are sometimes willing to match online prices if you talk to them and let them know how much you are looking to spend. Or you can just bring your own parts.

I called them for a friend and they were looking at about $450-500 for a gear install with parts included.

I haven't had any work done by them, but I have only heard good things about them.

I paid $420 for mine. But i had to go back a few months later because they were whining, turns out the bearing went bad in my pumpkin... not the gears. They did the labor for free though

Just because someone has a low price doesn't mean they don't know what they are doing. I know ppl who paid tons of money on gear installs and had to keep going back, because is wasn't done correctly. If they have done gear installs before, I say go for it. Being more expensive doesn't always mean better. JMO
