anyone know what makes the California Highway patrol 5.0s 87-93 so special from a normal notchback v8. ?? i hear that they have a modified chip? i dont now any info about CHPs let me know.

sorry no special chip..the usual add ons where :bigger alternator, oil cooler, silicone hoses and special hose clamps, reinforced floorplans/seatbacks,various electronics(radios,sirens,etc.)....
