if you get a standalone efi like megasquirt..would that fix that or would you still need a different cam for speed density?

if you did that, yes you could run what ever the hell you wanted... however if i had that the f cam would not be my cam of choice

ill have to seriously consider doing that before i buy anything for my car
megasquirt is one of the best ones isnt it? are there any others?

springs are stock and the lifters im not too sure about.I would like to find a way to
maybe get mycar running better with that cam.

first of all stock springs are junk and not enough for that cam. im half busy right now but to give you a general idea...keep stock lifters and get new springs, whats the lift on a e cam? .499/.510 or something like that? id like to see your spring pressure up inthe low 300s

You can't trust everything that Summit says. I bought a cam kit that was supposed to be specifically compatible with my car. It was a sn95 5.0. It came with flat tappet lifters. WTF?! Friggin tards!

ive always wanted to try f w/sd but never have. it works really well w/carb

i have the fcam in my 94 f-150 wich is a mass air vehicle and it still doesn't idle right , you have to help the truck along forabout a min then it will take and hold idle at 1k .

just go mass air, or put a carb on it if you want to go with the f cam, I have a f cam I getting ready to put in my car but Im going to carb
