Has anyone successfully put a later model even an aero interior into an older foxbody like 79-83?

I mean like the whole shibang dash, center console, heat and air etc. heck even the instrument cluster. I am not interested in putting in airbags or anything. I just want a good looking interior with a radio and heat.

I looked around online and unless i find an 83ish interior in good shape I feel my restoration is gonna be rough. I also looked at parts interchange but got lost considering everything.

ive seen it..... saw a '96 into a fox notchback. the guy said it was easy too.

front and back seats... looked stock. possibly was a 'vert back seat ? this was years ago

 

It can be done but your E-brake will have to be moved for the center console. Whats wrong with what you have now? I love the look of a 4eyed dash
