im putting a new edlebrock performance intake manifold and a 500 cfm carb on my 79 are there any tips you have or any tools or pieces i may need when i install them?

 

All you will need are common hand tools.
Take your time about changing the parts and ir will turn out real good.
BTW, why only a 500CFM carb? The last of the carbed cars Ford ever built as Mustangs used a 585 or 600 CFM Holley.....
