I got rid of mine by doing the Maximum Motorsports coil-over kit all the way around and also replacing the rear lower control arms with the MM ones. Works wonderfully, you can adjust the ride height to your heart's content and it handles like a LeMans racer. Not cheap, but worth every penny.

Technically, if you replace your stock control arms with high quality upper and lower control arms, you can literally remove the quad shocks.

Good control arms are a much better solution for controlling the axle than the quad shocks.

I would suggest the Maximum Motorsports control lower arms... http://www.stangsuspension.com/store...?idCategory=77
