Need help please
Alrite i have a 98 3.8 mustang that i have a problem with. For about 9 months my rear end has been bottomeing out. since this started i have installed monroe shocks.. then garbial shocks. ford c racings springs and still have the same problem. I thing i need a really stiff shock or something any ideas on what i should do. PLEASE help.. ill prob change all shocks and struts again to fix problem hopefully.. Its making me hate the love of my life lol. thanks
When its NOT bottoming out... what is the ride like? Does it seem to bottom out with ease? Not excessive suspension movement?
If so, you may just need a shorter pinion snubber (aka bumpstop). Here is a link... http://www.stangsuspension.com/store...?idproduct=609
If the ride seems bad AND its bottoming out... then you may just want to get better shocks in the rear, such as Tokico or Bilstein. Either way, a shorter bumpstop will help to keep it from bottoming out as easily, assuming your shocks are good...
Sincerely,
