Also, take EVERYTHING out you can. Spare tire, jack any other crap in the trunk, take out the back seat and anything else back there. Race him with less that a quarter tank. You may not need this, but why not hedge your bet???

now im just wondering who would take who....plz answer ASAP...im racing the guy on Sunday....from a 10-15 roll i guess..
Just hope its not the 260 somethin HP V6 maxima

You guys should be even. Both cars run low to mid 15s, if you were manual than you would win.

a auto 98 GT at mid 15's? theyre not THAT bad are they?
no way are they 15 second cars after that big discusion that they cant beet a split V-6, which run mid to high 15s with a good driver.

96-98 manual GTs run a best of high 14s usually running low 15s. Auto ones therefore will run low to mid 15s. A buddy of mine ran 15.1 bone stock in a 98 manual GT. This was with a 2.1 60ft.
