the simple fact is that you would need a decient amount of mods to keep with one if your a stock GT

 

The sti would win however you put it. But to be honest I've seen maybe 6 STI's run at the track and have not yet see one turn better than a 13.7 and the mph they turn were from 99-101mph at best. It could be the drivers, but the only way I see a sti turn a 13.0-13.2 stock is coming off the line at redline.

 

there is a cult following of Sti's at my college, there are 5 of them up there 3 blue ones and 2 white ones but only one is real the other ones are regular WRX's that are made to look like Sti's. when i first went there i would run one practically daily and SMOKE it then i ran against the the real Sti....[:@] needless to say he got me, but suprisingly not by much, maybe a car length, i dont think that he was a very good driver...after reading about them i figure he should have smoked me badly

 

SClay - if the STi's near are you running mid to high 13's, then those STi drivers are absolutly retarded, or you're watching hopped up WRX Imprezzas and don't know the differance... STi>Evo VIII/IX and those Evo's are puttin down some mid to low 13's...

 

oh hell no even a 50 shot on a 99+ should be more than enough to beat a stock sti...they're fast stock but not that much faster

 

pffft.. there's people with 100 shots that don't even hit 12s in a 99+ [&:]

no, only from a stop it would.... AWD is amazing from a stop... the only bad thing is, not many people can launch an AWD from a stop worth while....
