Hey guys I just got an 04 black gt that is stock and a friend of mine wants to challenge me to a race and says he can beat me. My friend has an 05 v6 with exhaust, intake, and tune. I have an auto and hes manual but I was thinkin I should still win this race. Should I be worried, or how close will this be if we race.

 

youll still beat him, my first 05 was the v6, with true duals intake and tune i got it to 199 at the wheels, still slow, but i could walk on stock civics all the time

no not really true. even with those mods, you still put down around 210-220 to the wheels, and u have a buttload more of torque than him so youll be able to take him.

 

hahaha. typical kid with an 05+ v6. the car salesman tell you that the new v6 is faster than the old GTs. they tried to feed me that BS when i was looking at the new GTs when they first came out and he was trying to sell me a v6. i wasn't even trying to buy a car either, just lookin. you'll have him. he's probably close in HP to what you put down, but you have a torque monster as others have said.

 

Waste of gas.
