Tonight I ran a 5.0 Mustang with some bolt on's and a wrk with an sti turbo.

I raced the 5.0 mustang 3 times from a stop and 1 time from a 10 roll.
The first race from a stop I put about 5 cars on him but he spun pretty bad.
The 2nd race from a dig He didnt spin as much but I spun and put 3 cars on him.
The 3rd race from a stop I didnt spin at all and he spun and I put about 5 cars on him.
Each time I steadily pulled away from him so even if he didnt spin I think I should have had him.

As for the sti/wrx w/e it is.
We raced from a stop and he launched perfectly (4wheel drive) he pulled a car on me and then I gained traction and shot past him and was 1/2 a car infront by the end of 1st beginning of 2nd. Then I heard a noise and he stopped. His tranny was locked and looked like its about to fall out, and his rear end was rattling. The shifter is locked into place and cant move. I raced him when I was close to stock from a roll and it was neck and neck so I should of also had him.


Anybody know what an 04 GT should run in the 1/4 mile with:
headers, h pipe, exhaust, chip, intake, throttle body, plenum, and drag radials?

Im not calling you a liar, but you said the STI had a perfect launch??????? And was only 1 car ahead? A perfect launch would have left you wayy behind drag radials or not.

 

Nice kill on the fox and the WRX, since the WRX f*cked up his tranny, than I guess you won. If them are your mods, than I believe you could take a WRX, non STI of course.

 

Hah that sucks for the WRX. They are notorious for having much weaker trannies than the STi, especially if you're going to AWD launch the **** out of them. That does not surprise me at all that he b0rked his transmission. He probably just dropped the clutch at like 5k rpms instead of slipping it and letting the clutch take the abuse of the launch.

 

He did launch it real high, he always does that. Its a wrx with a bigger turbo than an sti.
His front tires were completly bald so that gave me a better chance of getting him.

 

If his turbo was bigger than an STi then he is prolly faster than an STi............. meaning something isnt right

So its not an STI? A big turbo on those cars will spank you, but anyways, a kill is a kill. U better be glad you didnt line up beside a WRX/STI that actually had a driver.

 

Tonight I raced an Evo MR 9 from a stop and beat him by 1 car.
isnt the evo the same trap speed as an sti?

I also beat 2 girls in a lt1 z28 by 3 cars with full exhaust and a Lt1 camaro automatic by about 1.5 cars, i dont know what he had...
and a 350z from a dig I raped him. From a 20 I beat him by 3 cars and from a 40 I beat him by a bumper. Crazy night [&:]
