Default 04 mustang gt vs. S/C'ed 5.7 HEMI ram

I was on gratiot last night and it was pouring rain and I was at a light and there was a big *** van next to me so I diddn't see the truck on the other side... I took off like I normally do...( a little fast just in case someones watching) and I saw this truck match me and started to pull away while I hear a distinct "whir"of a supercharger... I was very suprised and started to floor it... and my friend logan and I were both saying "holy **** that a bad *** truck" when I hit 75 I finally was in front of him but diddn't wan't to push it on a 55mph road... I havn't really researched these trucks and was suprised when something that big was right next to me the whole way... P.S. S/C's sound bad *** on those HEMI's

First off, what mods do you have done to your GT? And second, if you 2 raced from a stop, I think he would kill you.

I am sorry but I find you either incredibly stupid or incredibly irresponsible for racing while it is raining. Second I doubt this story because I would think that a supered hemi would beat you or at least eat you alive at top end because of the horse those things make without being s/c. this is all just my opinion though

Superchagered Hemi Ram's make 500+RWHP @ 10psi with headers, so if you would line them up on a dry day he would most likely rip you a new one....Oh and they make about 400RWHP @ 6psi....

As for racing in the rain I had alittle fun last night with a truck too, I ran an SS Silverrado that ripped me a new one out the hole (damn AWD) but I eventually caught up to him after about 400 or so feet of sideways action (T/C off Weeeeee)....

I think the new 'Rado SS's are RWD only. They do have all wheel steering tho, I think.

Oh yeah, so they can those corners better, hehe. Why would they do that to a performance truck?[8D]

Don't know..........I would like to know how many owners have clipped their trucks on posts or other vehicles because of it. You KNOW ppl have a hard time getting used to steering with the rear wheels.

Must be nice for parallel parking, though!
