I was on my way out to my buddies house to help him install his new exhaust and i was stoped at a red light. This silver SS cobalt pulled up next to me and its this kid about my age with his girlfriend. His girlfriend motions for me to put down the window and she says "my boyfriend is gonna smoke ya", i just looked at her and smiled and blew her a kiss. When the light was turning yellow in the other lane he got his revs up to launch and the light turned green and he went. I didnt launch i just punched it when it turned green, he got about a fender on me and then i was by him and put about 4-5 cars on him by the time i hit about 75. When i punched it i spun like mad and when i caught traction the car went pretty much sideways! so I think if i would have gotten a better launch i could have put some more space on him. He must have been a crappy driver, I expected more out of the Cobalt than that after hearing all this hype about them. Ne ways at the next light i stoped and he wouldnt get next to me , when the light turned green i put my arm out the window to give a thumbs up ( i consider my self a good sport) he must have took this the wrong way , because i had to enforce the no fly by zone, after that he gave up and held back.....whew! that was a long one

nice kill. There are so many srt4's around here so I would rather have a cobalt than one, but they are pretty slow.

 

Nice kill. Those Cobalts would be a better match for stock sn-95 GT's.

Now what you dont know is that the cobalt was right off the lot defective from its lack of exhaustion lubrication. If that was taken care of you would have chance.
