It's not fair. He used all four wheels to launch. ha ha ha. I'm sure glad I caught up at the end. I seriously thought that I was doomed when he lauched that hard on me.

yeah that was pretty sweet "reel'm and deal'm", im guessing your a 5SPD, do you still have stock 3.08 gearing?

Damn he got quite a jump on you, nice comeback though! If that WRX keeps launching like that, his transmission isn't going to last long.

yeah first thing i did when i heard him rev that high and launch was wince, cause i heard the tranny going AHHHHHHHHH in my mind

Yeah, I love my 3.08 gearing. Might upgrade to 3.23 so I can get a little more torque off the line without completely destroying my top end. but I'm not sure. Yes it's a 5 spd.

That was the funniest part because the race we originally setup was supposed to be a 40 roll. Once we got to the spot he said we'll do it from a dig here. I was actually kinda worried then. ha ha ha. I knew I wouldn't hold sh*t to him on the launch.

You would have trashed him from a 40 roll. I wonder what he has done to his car. I'm obviously pretty knowledgeable on Subaru setups, so I'd be curious to know so I could guess his 1/4mile times.
