Well, I was getting on the highway yesterday and I see this car coming up on me really fast. I figured I would show him how fast my 04 Stage 2 Roush with the KB was. As soon as we start coming off of the exit ramp and onto the highway I push the pedal to the floor and expect to see the car fading in the rear view, but it didn't happen. He was right on my bumper. We hit about 140 and he was still there so I got over to see what it was. A mercedes SL55 AMG. I jump behind him and he takes off. He was pulling on my slightly, but he WAS pulling away. I am putting 440 - 450 hp to the ground so I was shocked to see a mercedes leave me like that. I guess at $125,000 it should. I need to order some more parts SOON! Whatever happened to the day when a 500 hp street car was the fastest thing around?

Mercedes have no top end, they keep going and going and going. Seriously though, good death. Got to respect the 125K super cars.

 

its that damned German engineering. that, and those cars are built for the autobahn anyway. made to go fast, and still have a smooth ride. 2 bad u lost tho

 

I came home and told my and wife and she got this worried look on her face. She just knows that I WILL be ordering the smaller pulleys for the KB this week. I just can't have this. I'm a sore loser! LOL. Maybe if I toast my short block I can tell the wifey that I have a legit reason to buy a nice forged longblock.

 

I wouldn't say super car, but definitely nice vehicles. Good death dude, at least it wasn't to a bowtie.[8D]

Get over it man, lol! You drive a f*cking ROUSH!!! That should make you happy enough. No matter how fast your car is, there will ALWAYS be something faster.
