Default M5 vs. 92’ GT

me and my friend visited his older brother last weekend on 11th (sunday). well we all mingeled into his garage to look at his Honda CBR 600 and his new m5. Its absolutely gorgeous. Royl blue with a nice supersprint exhaust. Being curioous of its performance, we all decided to take it out for a little spin.

rolling down downtown sacramento we pulled up to a pretty nice 5.0. Cowl hood, cobra grille, and an s-style wing all riding on cobra rims. My friend, being as stupid as he is says "he Clay, race this weak bitch right here" Revving his engine the mustang owner turns and smirks.

The light turns green and the wheels start screaming as both get off fairly good. Through first us, in the m5, were about half a length ahead. But once 2nd was up we were toast. The 5.0 pulled on us and kept going and going. Once we got to the next light we were behind at least 5 lengths. Laughing my *** off and reppin stang pride, i look at my friend and his borther to see only their looks of saddness and depression.

This guy i know drives an M5. supposedly runs mid 13's stock, from what i hear. damn nice ride though. handles good, ride is smooth, shifts smoothly, and looks tight. im sure my stock trans am could have taken him, but id trade in my ws6 any day for one of those cars.</P>

M5's do run mid 13s stock, so for your friend to get walked like that either he cant drive for s**t or the 5.0 was nicely modded

That must have been a nice 5.0 to walk an m5.

actually we took the M5 to the track the other week. With dinan exhaust and cold air intake kit, it ran a 13.1 @ 110. The guy with the 92' just moved in down the street from me in the pocket area and has a vortech s-trim on top of a 347. He runs low 12's and high 11's on radials. so him beating the m is no problem.
