Well my friend and I were at a bonfire with a ton of friend there and after awhile we decided to leave. I just got my car awhile back and we havent raced yet. Only performance mods I have are Cold air, BBK longtube headers and Underdrive pulleys. All he has is a cold air and a 75 shot which he didnt spray. I am still on stock 2.73's and he is on stock gears. We didnt have any time so we just did a 15 roll and this was my first ever actual race (even though it was friendly). I honked first and didnt really get my foot on the pedal in time and he jumped about a car or so in front and it stayed like that dead-locked through 4th and we came to a stop. We went back, and did it again and this time he got a good jump because for some reason I was not with it last night, and my reaction time was real slow. At the start he jumped a half car in front and again dead locked, we didnt pull on each other at all barely. I am 16 and this was my first race and I kept up with an experienced 5 speed driver (I am also 5 speed) so I was surprised I could handle it. Going to the track april 30th for the first time with a bunch of other MF'ers around here. Should be fun!

I noticed you had long tubes, but you neglected to mention if you were running the rest of the exhaust. Anyway, its sounds like it was a good time. Just be careful

 

Hand on the pedal? What the hell was I smoking when I typed that... No my saleen happens to be a clone, but as close as a saleen as you could get...name it I got it (minus the blower). Its a 94 GT 5.0 otherwise. Yeah it was fun and I cant wait to go again. As for being careful, it was a baron road at midnight, wasnt a car for miles and it was nice and smooth. I was real cautious.
