Congrats! What model is it?
One of my dad's customers has an '03 w/ a 2.2L twin screw KB, and that car is INSANE. One of my favorite cars have to be the Terminators, I envy every single person who owns one.

No real specific reason to buying the 2.4 over the 2.2 other than having the budget and some of the horror stories I see about belt slippage on the 2.2's.

 

How many psi you plan on running? Sorry for being a nosy Nancy, but I'm a car guy, can't help myself.[8D]

Hopefully you will be buying the polished 2.4l model right? Why spend all that money and it not BLING?lol. I talked to a guy last night that said the 2.4l competition model is good up to 40psi and 1700rwhp with the right engine. Thats just sick. You probably wont even see 20-25 on a stock motor. Holy crap dan, I'm so jealous. What do you do for money haha?? Aren't you pretty young, and your going to have a 2.4 kb s/c on an 04 cobra?? I'm jealous.

 

I have determined the ricer flyby is due to there lack of horsepower and they don't want to race you, just **** you off. Everytime I have had one and was able to catch up at a light, I killed the bastid. Can't wait to see your numbers on the KB install. I am trying to decide whether or not to get a Mercedes or an 03-04 Cobra. Learned a lot from modding the 96, and would love to have a 700+hp car, but a CLK would be great for those nice weekend beach trips. plus the girlfriend is nagging me. Good luck with the install.

Why a KB? Why not bolt the bad boy on and have 500rwhp? How much power you be wantin'? Too much and you can't have any fun on the skreet...
