I haven't seen a Cobalt SS/SC have a problem with the new Eclipse V6 yet. But then again both are sucky WRD (wrong wheel drive) and the SS/SC has the better power to weight ratio.

And don't even bring up the BS of 205HP.
Not to antagonize you or hate on the Cobalts (which I kinda like), but how much power are they putting down, stock? 190fwhp? 200fwhp?

When dynoed in Fourth gear they will put down 218-225WHP, when dynoed in third they will put down 230-235HP in 100% stock form.

The GMPP satge kits were just released this moring and a Cobalt SS/SC with this kit will put down 270WHP on a otherwise stock car.

Geez...I was talking about my Mustang. But actually, there probably aren't too many Civics running around that will handle the Goat.
you say that only because you don't know how many cousins the friends of my friends have.

They are pretty darn fast + it has MIVEC which is similar to hondas v-tec only better from what a dealer told me when we were lookin' for a 05 lancer with mivec for my fiance. The dealer told me that it's better than v-tec but it kicks in at a lower RPM.
Well, of course he said that. He wanted yo ass to buy it.

I'd say that run low-14s @ 95mph+ with a solid driver. So watch out for 'em.
I love having cars that I don't have to worry about stuff like that. I read all these threads about getting beat by Civics and Eclipses. If you're getting beat up by imports, why don't you do something about it?
werd... turbo or nitrous is what could solve this problem most the time. lol

The Cobalt SS doesn't handle like a FWD and the performance driveability of this FWD car is better than most. With the exception of traction issues and the wrong end veering during wheel spin I don't mind it.
