Well got me some 275/50/15 Mickey Thompson DR on some draglites. I have the stock wheels on the front still.

For burn out what do ya'll recommend. Go around, back into the box. or go around back up do a burn out without touching the water. how long. And I dont have a line lock yet.

Also tire pressure 20 pounds for the strip?

Launch rpm? 3500? or try higher. I have 4 two step tunes from 3500 - 5000

i would go around and then back into the box. Burn out for a couple seconds and pull out of the water while burning out. You dont really need to lock your brakes, you could just rev it up and let it spin and then you will move forward a little, getting rid of the water. You could probably launch at around 3000-3500 rpm. Just dont dump the clutch, you need to feather the clutch out.

Thank you.

Is that just so I dont bend, break an axle. Or so I dont spin. I had assumed i could just dump it if i got DR's

i launced my MT's at 3500 and bogged the hell out of my car

do a 2nd gear burnout your first time through, to get them hot and sticky

then, your other launches there after dont have to be full smoke fledging burnouts,, just heat them up a tad and clean them off

( i got that from the MT website)

good luck man! youre the guy that ran horrid the first time right? like me
let us know what happens
