For a limited time only (if I can find a host this would be great)..

This is a scan of the 2001 GMHTP testing of their Camaro SS that went 12s... they discuss launching, conditions of the runs,etc...

I did see they were icing the intake between runs (didn't realize that before...I hotlapped my passes)..

I love the ls1 motors.. Best bang for the buck especially for the camaros.. My 170k mile ls1 camaro dyno'd at 320 RWHP with basic bolt ons and ran a 12.9 at the track. Which is super impressive to me. But ls1s cant match up the sound of a modular ford motor with full exhaust.

Well at least you have one. 99% of internet bloggers tell me how they would hypothetically beat my car with a 6 spd ls1 SS camaro... but we all know those are so limited that they are more talked about than actually seen. What they actually have that is race ready is instead mom's station wagon. Pisses me off.

By now you probably have solid numbers to disprove those comments and if you couldn't beat an M6 LS1 Camaro drive that thing into the nearest large body of water.

oh and nice necro.

I hate to ask (I always feel like I'm the only that doesn't know something)... but what's a necro?

also, how are you trapping so high but running a 13.1? I trap 110 but ET at around 12.4XX and you're a little more than a half second slower almost trapping the same. Is it the weight of my car (about 3700+ with me in it). Just curious; not trying to argue (i hate inet arguements...).
