Default First kill for my Cobra

I've owned my 99 Cobra (8k current miles) for about 6 months now.. But the car has been in storage for the winter and I have been sinking money into it to get ready for summer..

Well my brother and I spent the last 2 days installing lowering springs on it and we took it out after we finished.. I happened to pull next to a VW GTI at a red light.. He gave me the look and I gave it back.. The light for the cross direction turned red and the guy started to smoke his front tires even before our light turned green.. I waited that last second for it to turn green and I put my foot down.. By the time I was out of first gear he was at my rear bumber even though he left first..

Cobra vs. VW GTI is no match I know.. But it was my first kill since owning the car.. Its kinda like loosing my verginity, I will never forget it =)

P.S. when I slowed down he yelled out "nice car man" and drove off.. What a good feeling that was..

Thus far I've added rims, Flomaster exhaust and lowering springs.. Just need windows tinted and I'm done.. The car is fast enough and now has the right look I want..

Because of my super-investigative 007 top secret agent-style undercover researching skills.

Actually yeah, I just clicked the button in his sig =p

Nice kill dude. VW's aren't nearly as quick as the Evo's, Sti's or the srt-4's. The EVO's and Sti's are the best 'cause they get you off the line but you can run them down. The neons are fun because half of the owners of them think they are ungodly fast, but only from a roll, from the line they never get past your doors.
