ok again i'm new to cars i know that ls1's and lt's are chevy/pontiac cars what is what? because i kind of get it but i still dont kno sry for sucha dumb question

 

the LT1 is chevy's 350 V8. The LS1 is a more powerful destroked version of this. the LT1 is 350, the LS1 is a 346. LS1's will flat out murder any stock mustang EXCEPT a cobra, in which case mr. LS1 goes home with his tail between his legs.
for 4th gen camaros (93-02) and firebirds, 93-97 is LT1 on the v8 models i believe, LS1 is from 98 on.
what else do u wanna know about these engines?

Nope absolutely correct. Except the part where a cobra kills an LS1. LS1's still erasily beat all the Cobras except the 03-04 Cobra. Stock vs stock the 03-04 Cobra is a bit faster.

 

LS1 was put in the Z28/SS Camaros from 98 on... You can tell by the fact the camaros have a rounded front...

LT1 = 99-04 GT's LS1> Mustangs period. haha... except for the terminator cobra (SC Cobra 2003-2004)

well yea thats what i meant lol. whenever i think cobra, i immediately think termin8tr cobra. also if im not mistaken, a mach1 could hang with an LS1, drivers race i believe.

 

what were like the 2000's v8 trans ams? and were v6 camaros comparible to v6 stangs except there ugly as sin

 

Mustang V6 = faster then GM versions... 2000 T/A = LS1 - good rule of thumb - 98+ Fbodys (trans am - camaro) have a LS1 - no differance between a trans am, z28, SS or WS6...

 

It is said that it is a drivers race with Mach1 vs LS1. I think stock vs stock the advantage is clearly for the LS1 and a poor LS1 driver vs a pretty good Mach 1 driver is an equal race. Everything equal, including drivers, transmission, and stock, the LS1 is faster and will win everytime.

 

yes i can vouch and say the v6 mustang is faster than the v6 camaro with the races from my friend with a 3.8 camaro. but yeah the only difference from the z28 and ta is appearance. firebirds use those bodykits and a lotta fake scoops, kinda like the 01-04 GT. camaros are smoother, and kinda basic looking. like.. a 2 door sebring or something.

 

Ok Ls1 vs Mach1 is a drivers race between two low 13 second cars
Ls1 will dismantle a pre 05 GT
LT1 will dismantle pre 99 GT
LS1 and LT1 wil dismantle a 94-95 cobra
LS1 wid dismantle a 96-98 cobra. I think its a drivers race with an LT1
LS1 will take a 99/01 cobra
99/01 will take an LT1
03-04 cobra will take an LS/LT1
