I don' know what it is but if you get a chance to race an STI of a role they are slow .
My car runs low 14's I caught this STI trying to pass me on the way to work the other day so i stomped it and I slowly started pulling on this guy.
Arent theses cars low 13 sec cars. Guess thats only if you dump the clutch at 6000RPM's

 

I would have to guess he was in the wrong gear. My friend has an STi and he raced with my friends GTP and my stang. We got him a couple of times, only because he was in the wrong gear. The speed we were going was right between gears, ie to many revs for 3rd(would have to shift as soon as you punch it) or to low in 4th(spool time). But when we speed up a bit he walked but not to fast.
Anyhow good kill, you just were out of his speed range. Try taking him from a stop and see how you fair

Hey since were on the subject, this kid at my school has a basically stock WRX, Not STI. I think you guys know what i have done to my 91 hatch, he says hes gonna stomp me from a roll, and a stop. I already admitted hed outhandle the **** out of me (like i give a ****), but just so i know im not losing my mind, is he gonna whip my ***? anybody elses experiences with stock WRX's? (iwrxit i dont wanna hear a damn thing from you.) I figure i can break 13's easily with what i have, but never been to a track.......

i have no personal hate against him. Its just that he owns one, and would be bias in my opinion. I have a modded 5.0, much like many people on this board. iwrxit may have raced mustangs, but who is he to know if it was modded or not, or what was done to it?i can believe a stock WRX can take a stock 5.0 GT, but thats all iwrxit may have raced. getting my point yet? With just asking the stang drivers, they can respond with actual results. They can say "i have blah blah blah on my 5.0/4.6 and i stayed next to a stock wrx". iwrxit would have no idea past exhaust if a 5.0 was modded or not (unless SC whine). Its pretty obvious to see if a WRX is stock or not though, since their main power comes from a turbo, if its upgraded, your going to hear the damn thing, and your going to hear a BOV. Comprende?

More than likely he's gonna win. He won't have any problem launching a car that runs with new GT's. Best I remember you only have exhaust mods, that's prob not enough to get into the 13's with a 5.0.

 

for the love of god i dont have just exhaust mods, did u not read any of my other posts? you had to because you responded to them. Have we not had this convo before? Do you not pay attention at all? Owned, you drive a damn civic, your not a psychologist, shut up. ok. for the FINAL TIME here are my ****ing mods..... Tell me those arent capable of getting me into the 13's. .......right...... 95 where do you live, id REALLY like to race you..... oh for technical purposes, i count 8 mods that arent exhaust (real mods). unless you count the cam as an exhaust mod, cuz i suppose it technically does have to do with the intake and exhaust valves......

Ok where did that come from? You asked for experiences, but then don't want someone with them because he might have a biased opinion towards his car?

Thats like asking me about a 5.0 but telling you to not respond because you might be biased towards it.
