Ok, you guys maybe wondering why the hell i race so many high end classy POS cars... well its because once a kid turns 16 in saudia arabia, theyre usually faced with 3 choices:

1. Brand new mercedes (and usually the dumbass pics one like the s600, cuz here its the "coolest")
2. Bimmer (7 series ofcourse, NO m5's and hardly any M3's)
3. Land Cruiser or Range Rover

So thats why i beat on them all day. Its just so much fun.

But today, i ran into one of those NEW turbo v12 s600's. I wasnt planning to race, but the guy gunned it and i was like, oh what the hell. Ok, i agree its a twin turbo monster engine... but in a car that weighs as much as a friggin yacht, it didnt do SQUAT for it. LOL.

I thought it was going to be at least a BIT fast, but its about as fast as a GTO. It was a really short race anyhow, but i still beat him badly. He was shocked (as all saudis are once they discover that the car they just bought for 160 grand cant beat an old stang)...

So no fear fellas, take those damn mercs on. Just be careful of the SLR's, theyre MEAN.

what part of saudi you in? we have the same thing in qatar, with all the arab kids gettin brand new expensive cars as soon as theyre old enough to drive. ive seen some pretty crazy races here tho, the other night i saw a lamborghini murcielago runnin a mclaren slr. crazy ****

 

I don't care how wealthy you are, a teenager has absolutely no business owning a supercar. How are you intelligent enough to make that much money, yet give your kid a 600hp supercar? Too much damn oil over there, maybe that's the problem. You don't HAVE to be intelligent to make that much money.

I've always contended that no matter how successful I became, my children would never receive any car over $20,000 or so as their first vehicle. Chances are they're going to ding up and (God forbid) wreck while they're learning and adapting to driving conditions, so why bother wasting the money on a nicer car? I sure as hell wouldn't buy them a brand new one.

****, my first vehicle was an old farm use Toyota truck that our farmer sold to my dad for $1500. That truck was awesome and lasted such a long time. I had fun with it offroading and stuff and never had to worry about anything damaging it.

I live in sharqiya area man. Ya we have some pretty sick races here... especially from the supra and skyline guys, but theyre not that many. Also the stang dudes here are really upping thier game too, all going big blocks, SC, and nitrous. Theres alot around here who joined the Bahrain Cars club (basically a drag racing club, but with some autox sometimes)...

But Qatar is friggin SICK man. They get beast *** cars there and they actually race em. You dont even see them around here cuz theyre kept in garages all day. My cuz has a Ferrari Marenello, and he only drove it like 9 times the whole year. Moron.

+1 on the expensive car thing when your 16. Thats GOTTA be dumb. You wont believe the amount of brand new mercedes, lumina SS's (basically the pontiac GTO over in the states), commodores, and porsches in junk yards. But its better for us cuz its like a swap man's dream (thinking 240z with LS1, yum yum)

BTW, i had the coolest first car EVER. It was a 1991 VW Vanagon AWD with that rear mounted engine and IRS. It was SICK. I swapped out the pathatic 90 hp engine for a 1970's 2.7 porsche engine, and suddenly, it was the only drift van in california

So much fun, i went everywhere with it. Snowboarding, Duning and everything. PLUS you could fold the ENTIRE back end into one bed. Quickies anyone?

 

sweet...I agree with WRX, no matter how rich I am I would NEVER give my future kid that nice of a car. I will probably give my kid a $5000 beater lol. A nice big, bulky crown victoria would be good enough. Those things can take a beating lol. If I was rich though I will probably upgrade my kid's ride after he learned how to drive responsibly. My best friend's brother in law just had a kid and he already has his first car waiting for him. A '69 Mustang Mach1...its going to be the father/son project car. That's going to be one hell of a first car. I'm so jealous even though he's only 3 months lol.

Of course this is all assuming I have a boy. (I really hope lol)
