Sup eveyone im going to be running the 1/8 tomorrow if its nice out. My question is what gear am i going to be in when i go through the trap? i have a t-5 and 3.73. thanks also street tires

I bet he traps in third. What is your shift RPM Tim? BTW good or bad you gotta let us know what it runs, I am hitting the track as well tommorow. We can compare or 1/8 mile times

 

haha well we know who will win, yea im thinking i will trap 3rd because im not going to get out of the hole i can tell ya that now. big question DO I NEED A HELMENT? i will let everyone know, i dont care what she runs, what happens happens

 

I am not sure on the rules for 1/8 tracks but I would bring a helmet for sure, also you can't wear shorts (if it's that warm where you live?). With a 3.42 rear gear I was trappinging 3rd in the 1/4, of course that was at 7000 rpm, but I still bet you will be in 3rd.

 

i shift into 4th right before the finish line in the 1/4... im pretty sure hell be in 3rd

 

umm issue i dont have a helment yet. oh well if i can race i will, if i cant i wont.
