maybe a tad better than that. they are horribly sluggish being a one time owner myself of a 96. Hell, u dont have to race an ss to feel like your standing still. When i had my 96 v6 i raced my brothers stock 03 gt, and i literally thought my throttle was broke or something. and we all know how much quicker an ls1 is than a new edge gt.

 

To make it a fair race tell him to let you start from ways back and get your speed up to about 50mph and then when you reach him thats when he goes.LOL... But it will make it a good one... On second thought he will prolly still win.
