wow..nice launch...its hard to tell, and i hope that you dont take offense to this, but was your light and launch excellent, or was he sleeping?

 

Truth is it was a little of both. I cut a good light and he definitely was reading the paper... But there is no better feeling for me than to kill a chevy that comes on a trailer with my 05 stang, and then drive home while he's laoding it back up, ya know??

Nice race CK, great job on getting the hole shot on him. Maybe we can meet up someday and go power adder for power adder. What did you run in that race?

 

I don't remember that particular but my runs all night were mostly 7.30's and 2 in the low 7.40's - I think that pass was a 7.32-34. And I would definitely need the hole shot with you if went adder for adder...lol

BTW JD, build starts on Thursday FINALLY. Very bummed about having my car down for 2-3 weeks but can't wait to see what she's gonna do. Art Carr just made me an awesome 4 speed AOD for it so I'll be able to squeeze now right from the gate. It's damn near orgasmic just thinking about it...

 

After this, I think I am the one who needs the hit How big are you going on the converter, I have a buddy with an Art Carr C4 in his 68 Galaxy, so far he is pretty happy with it, but his car is a turd, plus it's a tank.

 

WOW, those are impressive numbers and times....lol.... Looks great, give these guys a few lessons on how to drag...

 

Put it this way, I'm one of the cars he's doing the R&D for and when it's available it will have a 1200 hp unconditional garuntee. If it breaks for ANY reason with less then 1200 hp, he will replace it for free. I'm VERY impressed with it. I will give details on it once I have it in and get the green light.
