if it is a new GTI, its a 2934lb car (as listed by VW) with 200hp...which has less drivetrain loss than your sixer...ive not seen one run, but they are reportedly high 14 second cars...

which means that he would destroy you...

92mustang he never said his CAI felt like a turbo he said it kinda sounded like a turbo, which like dude said up top you obviously haven't heard any turbo cars lately have you.

yep definitely does not sound like a turbo...I don't even understand how you can hear your CAI at all...if you had a turbo, you can hear the whistling over the engine noise and exhaust (even if you had a loud exhaust) which you probably don't...and BTW those Volkswagen GTI's are pretty quick cars, the turbodeisel version will smoke you. They also get 40mpg.

Umm... mr. v6 guy.. I hate to break it to you.. but if he's got the turbo.. then your in some trouble. You guys will be putting about 25 hp difference to the wheels between the 2 cars.. and umm... he weighs quite a bit less. Better hope he's N/A...
+1, if he has a turbo he will most likely roll on you, they give me a race once in a while, and I'm definitely out of v6 territory.

VEEDUBS YO!! UNPIMP THE RIDE!!!!!!

Please follow up and let us know how this clash of the titans works out. You may want to install some wheelie bars before you race this guy, you could pull the front up up pretty high and then smash your oil pan on the landing. And that could be expensive.
