He came on the site to start ****....as he did...and you guys fell right along with it. If no one would have posted to this thread, it'd been funny as hell. He probably would have even replied to himself just to bump his thread. Sad...

ive never heard of an alpine supercharger...is this a tibby-specific item?

and 757gt, how fast would a car (as he claims to have) be?
If he truely had all of that with the right suspension, drs, and a motor built to hold all of that it would be capable of high 11s to low 12s. He is lying however, my buddy is big on the Tib site and they just recently had the first new style tib run in the 11s. It was a turbo 4 not a V6. The alpine supercharger kit is just a Eaton roots blower. The alpine kit is the Eaton kit just for the Tiburon GT. The blower the kit uses is small, I think it is the same size as the one on the Cobalt SS. One of the guys on Newtiburon.com ran low 12s with a full bolt on, stage 3 alpine, with water to methanol injection, drs, and some suspension work. He as far as I know is the fastest V6 Tib as of right now.

wow..ive seen a few heavily built 3rd gen eclipses, running a supercharger on a fully built motor, and they were only in the 12s...but they were driving in and out of the track...and they had awful short times on street tires.

I can't see how white trash could afford a Mustang like most of ours. New mustang GT's are in the area of 26,000 and 30,000 (in AL). And the 03-04 cobra??? the cheapest I've found on used was 28,500. New they were upwards of 34-36,000 new. How much is a Fuggin tiburon? 16-17,000. The only thing they have going for them is a warranty. LOL. This guy obviously can't talk smack to someones face so he has to hide on a forum. I bet if he fronted like that in person he'd get his a$$ stomped. And for the supercharged tiburon, a girl I know has one (so she says) and I wasnt too impressed when I saw it run.

Fully loaded GTV6 is $21k. It is a decent car for the money imo.

That is sticker, they negotiate alot. My buddy's was sticker of $20800, he got it for $18500. I never said it was the greatest buy, but it is a decent looking car with decent performance and a nice interior. He has 41k miles on is and has never had a problem. I don't know how your friend paid $24K for one, that is $3k over sticker on a new one.

well, my friend's gf, and her sister were told that they were getting a "package deal"...they bought two of them at once, and they got screwed...i think that its funny. when working as a mechanic, i saw alot of problems with them, and my friend has run into them..he has had SEVEN sunroof assemblies put in, and they are on their THIRD exhaust manifold...its had wheel bearings go bad, both window motors..the power locks stopped working after about 40k...and my buddy is not one to let a car fall apart..he maintained it for a long time, and when it started literally falling apart..he gave up.

Damn, it is a good thing my buddy has not had these problems. He does not have the sunroof so I don't know about that. I have always heard Hyundais fall apart very easily, he must just be really lucky he has had no problems. Another friend of mine has one and he has had electrical problems. His has 35k miles.
