I love Lightnings and I've actually been searching to buy one for a long time. A very good friend of mine has a 95 Gen 1 that only has 16k miles on it. He is debating on selling it but I'm not looking to spend what he would want for it, lol. Its got about $10k worth of upgrades, some of which are TW Foxlake stage 2 heads, roller cam conversion, Vortech S trim, Twin fuel pumps etc. Bassani off road, Dyno Jet wide band O2, electric fans , MSD, rear valance, flat bedcover & bed rug liner. lol I know that truck like the back of my hand. As soon as this weather clears up around here we're gonna take it out for a drive. BTW, Good job on the race, those Gen 2s are quick.

The Gen 1s (93-95) are rated at 240 HP but I believe this to be a low ball rating. The 99 & 00 are rated at 360 and the 01-04s are rated at 380.

them lightnings actually kinda suck on the top end. i raced a modded one (he was picking on me thinking i was stock on the highway) and went from like a 60 roll. we were dead even til i hit 4th when i started passing him like he was slowing down. i'm not a truck person, but i wouldn't mind having a lightning.

How do you know SVT is sticking around? I have read so many posts on numerous websites including this one and the National Lightning Owner's Club about SVT going "bye bye." I want more details on this information.
