Same Here. 04-05 S2000's are easy high 14's from the factory.

You have WAY more torque than him so you will beat him out of the hole if you don't spin to much, but his cars lighter so he's going to do good rundown on you. Better be beating it hellin!

00-05 S2000s are easy mid to low 14 second cars from the factory. Period.

Sure they have the possibility to run high 14s. That's why I said Drivers race.

This discussion is pretty much over.

I have raced my buddies '01. He ran 14.03@100 STOCK. They are not high 14 sec cars. It is a drivers race with a 2V GT.

Default Me vs s2000 video

Yea, I raced one, once. The guy who yells 8.85 almost got his *** kicked that night. Him and his buddy were HUGE import guys and kept bashing every domestic that pulled up. He even asked my buddy, who was video taping, if I had real nitrous, or just fake aerosol....can ya tell he's an import guy?

The first run was when it was really hot, the second was when it cooled off a bit. About 75 degrees. Both were with Exhaust/stall/50rwhp shot/Nitto's. I only left the second run on to show how much some cooler weather could do on the same day.

My brother ran one from a dig to about 80 and had a door on one. Hes got a 96GT 5spd with an X-pipe and exhaust. No clue what the other guy had. Just assumed he was stock and not a very good driver.

It's not impossible to put S2000s into low 14's, but it does take a skilled driver and an obedient little clutch that's willing to take some pain.

Kind of like bone stock 99-04 GTs run high 13s all day here, right?
