My 1st street race I've owned my new 06 for 5 days now and Saturday was my 1st encounter with a Dodge R/T Charger. I'm sitting at a light and this new charger pulls up he comments on my car and I retun the nice car back to him. Then he smiles and points down the street well I figured what the heck he's got the Hemi lets see what the stang can do, light goes green and I just get on it I get him out of the hole but he catches me REAL quick I'm slamming 5th and he starts to pull a head so down shift to 4th and bam I get the edge. We both back it off as the light ahead turns red, so I don't know how this would have ended I'd like to think I would have got him but he turned off so we could continue. Now for my 2nd encounter I'm heading south on Main here in Corona, Ca and a Trans Am pulls up and dogs the Ford calls it a junk car I think it was his way in saying hey lets race. So I laugh at him and tell him lets go so we get to the next light and to make a long story short he was some where behind me when it was all said and done with. He pulls up again and wants to race again I tell him no that my junk Ford needs a rest and just laugh at him he was pissed and flips me the bird and takes off. What a weekend I just loved it

 

thats funny , i was just about say i ran an R/T about 30 mins ago , even i whooped that thing. Gear for gear I pulled till we let off i was 3/4 to a car up.
