Default bench racing

ok so when I get my car back at the end of may, it will have over 500 rwhp (500-520) via KB 2.2, forged shortblock, stage 3 ported/polished frpp heads, stage 2 comp cams, T56, control arms, spec stage 2 clutch, alum flywheel, alum driveshaft, auburn pro diff and some milder street radials so i can get some milleage out of em. A 2006 dodge viper rt puts like 430-450 to the ground? I know hes got more meat out back but I have a 100 lb dry weight advantge (and i only weigh 170 lbs). who would win in the 1/4? (I dont know times on either of these cars)

I'd say the Viper should get you, but not by much. They run what, low 12's to high 11's in the 1/4? It would be great if you did, but I dont know if you can. Good luck and let us know what happened.

500rwhp and some grip off the line will easily put you in front of the viper as long as the road is straight

Do you know hard its gonna be for him to put 500+rwhp to the ground on some mild street tires? Hes gonna spin thru 1st and 2nd, and hard tellin about 3rd and 4th. I'd say with some MT Dr's, he would win from a dig, but other than that, NO.

Most definately with the street tires metaldrummer will get beat even on the track! Put some dr's on and maybe a set of control arms and the win goes to metaldrummer.

well the control arms are already payed for and being installed. right now I just need to wory about getting that auburn diff, 31 spine axles and some DRs. I know the MT ETs are the stickiest but i need something that I can get some mileage out of. maybe a BFG or some Nitto 555s?

ya...definitely missed the "street tires" part! I was assuming when i started reading the mods that after blowing all that $$$$ on the power, he would pick up some adequate tires, thus "500rwhp and *some grip off the line*".

hah thanks alot. i cant wait till I get it back on the 31st! I just got an auburn pro 31 spline diff, new bearing kit, 31 spline axles, 3:73s, a diferential girdle, tubular control arms and some Nitto drag radials. I woulda definitly gotten some MTs but I really need to get at least [i]some[i] mileage out of my tires[&o]

I might not get ANY traction off the line but Ill still be able to fly once I get going. I was reading the new mmff and they had a KB 05 gt running low 11s with potential for high 10s with a similar power numbers as what ill have. however, they were able to cut a 1.6 with slicks so well see
