I was on the higway after I just picked up my gf and almost about to get off and I see a red 5.0 go zipping by. I decided to have fun since it was the first nice day around here in about 2 weeks. I get behind him and all of a sudden he pulls some gay *** FnF type **** and starts going from lane to lane. I decided to follow him for the first minute to see if he was just trying to get away from traffic since there were a few 18 wheelers on where we were. Nope he keeps doing it and then gets off an exit. I follow him off and he goes into town and I turn to get back on the highway going the other way to go home. I'm getting on the on ramp and I see a red srt-4 go by. I got on it to get up to him and he slows down and isn't trying to race at 70 like most morons around here do. So we go from a 40ish roll and I do 3 beeps. I hit about 80 and had 10 cars on him no joke. I though ok he messed up or didn't hear the beeps and didn't go. All of a sudden he does a flyby and I figure thats that. Nope. Just got in front of a 18 wheeler and then he slows down. I pull up and we line up again at 40. I do 3 beeps and before I get on it I let him get a jump to see if he was gonna race. He goes and gets about half a car and I step on it and go up to 110 and stop. I had about 15 cars. Couldn't tell ya what he had done if anything. My guess is it was stock. It was a kid driving and I got off on the next exit and he just flashed his high beams real quick as if to say good race I suppose. So he wasn't some jackass who thought he was the ****. I wanted him to follow so I could shoot the **** with him and tell him he had a nice ride but he kept going. Anyways figured I would share since I rarely street race and just decided to play some tonight. And no there wasn't alot of cars on the highway and all that. Yes I know street racing is bad and horrible. So for those who want to flame go ahead, not gonna teach me any lessons.

 

Good kill! You really worked him! He was probably stock which is an easy kill for your car.

 

thanks. yeah its not like i can tell from looking at the thing if its was modified. i mean damn i couldn't even tell if it had exhaust since my car is deafening loud. though i think they come with cats and then its straight pipe from there? could here the bov which i believe also comes factory with that car.

 

They come with cats and resonator no mufflers. The bov is aftermarket. It is a $60 part. My brother has a SRT-4 so I know a little bit about them.

They are attractive cars from my pov and are pretty quick. I wanted to get at the 5.0 but I think the srt would have put up a better fight. I saw about 6 ls1 T/As today on regular streets in town and wanted to try one but it was middle of day and like I said in town. I can hang with my buddies cammed SS on the highway with him pulling half a car.

i was gonna do another race with me n/a but i was too scared that i would run into a po po. i have very bad luck when it comes to cops.

 

With as many SRT kills as I see on this board, I think everyone lives in stock SRT world, lol. When I get my SRT back this weekend there better be some postings labeled "just got my *** handed to me by a Neon" from the WI guys, lol!!

 

I also like them. I have driven my brother's. It is quite fun to drive. It is quick and I think they look pretty good considering that they are just a Neon.
