I got behind this riced out Integra this morning. I think it was probably the lowest model for power they made. But it was all blacked out with the 3-1/2" Fart Can. To tell the truth it didn't look that bad, but it sounded and looked a lot faster than it was. Anyway... When he noticed I was behind him he tried to leave me. I kept it in 3rd and stayed right with him. He sure did sound like he was going though. This thread is not about racing, persay. Seeing that I didn't actually race him. I am just confused on why there was no Ricer flyby. I know he couldnt fly by, since he was in front of me, but he didn't try to take off as soon as I turned off. I wonder why?? To let you know he got upto 70 in a 45 before a Big Dump truck turned in front of us.


What kind of Hp do those things have?? I believe it was in the 1994-2001 range and it was a hatchback, but he shaved all the decals off the car.

I guess since his was shaved off all decals and I'm pretty sure it wasn't anything special I'll go with the thought that it was a low end model of 140Hp and not think much more about if I lined up against him. I guess he wasn't too rice seeing that he couldn't leave me and then he DIDNT try a flyby. If I see him maybe I'll give him some comps on his ride. It did look real clean. All blacked out with Chrome rims and chrome exhaust muffler. No rear wing or nothing real rice.

i've seen a guy in a stock acura integra type R go 14.8 i believe at the track.

 

I really have no problem with rice i had a 99 Eclipse for a while. Nice care but was more of a mileage car then a sports car.

If you have a nice ride and you’re a nice about it I’ll be the first to tell you how nice it looks.

But if you line up to me with a huge ego with rice I’m going to make you look bad.

That’s always been my rule of thumb.

I never like putting anyone’s ride down.
And I require the same respect from everyone else. Seems fare to me.

 

yeah, my guess would be it was the LS model(1.8 dohc non-vtec). the gsr and itr would both have probably walked away from you in all honesty. not necessarily WALKED, but, probably creeped away slowly. sounds like you should have went from a light tho couldve been a diff outcome with your torque advantage
