just got my tb/plenum adjusted today and took it for a test drive. already in a good mood, i pass a gtp(looked stock), without a second look. the guy gets a run on me from a 1/2 mile back or so and i seen him comming. he got close and i dropped it into 3rd. by the time he got to my door, i barked 4th gear and left him like he was setting still. i slowed down and he pulled up beside of me and all he could do was smile. oh yeah, he liked 4th!! lol. needless to say, test drive good!![sm=gears.gif]

i'm sorry if you didn't understand....left rubber laying on the street at about 90mph or so....was looking at the tac....around 6k

 

You shifted from third, and revved it to 6 grand, then put it in 4th?

speed shift without lifting off of the gas from 3rd to 4th............power shift, etc................

 

I still am not buying that you laid rubber all over the road in 4th gear. Just doesn't seem like something a gt with those few mods could do. I wasn't there though, so you would know more about it than me.

 

that is why i said bark, i didn't lay it all over the road, i just though you were making fun of what i said!
chirpped, i don't really know what you(personally) would call it. and the gt runs pretty good. i put down 257.2rwhp and 294.4 torque without the tb/plenum...which i was testing... and the ngk plugs which don't make a difference but make me feel better for paying almost $8 ea.

 

 

left rubber laying and laying rubber all over the street is 2 diff. things and i didn't know what you wanted to hear. 04 cobra's are very nice don't get me wrong, i thought it was a good story to tell without getting underestimated by a cobra, but maybe i was wrong.
by the way so we are clear....my tires made a noise from hp/tq from 3rd to 4th gear at 6k.

 

I understand you know, it just sounded to me like you meant you left a burnout down the road. Sorry for the misconception.
