Default 04 V6 vs 06 V6

My buddy is finally confident enough in his driving ability to give them a run. During our lunch break we went over the Buckman bridge and did the roll-race thing. The cars are actually more evenly matched than I thought they were. We went from a 55mph roll in 3rd gear and he was barely pulling on me. He only had a bumper on me by the time we hit 100. On the way back we did some runs from a dig. He got me pretty good off the line and through 2nd gear but he didn't gain any more once we hit 3rd. He had a solid car and a half on me and I wasn't gaining on him and he wasn't putting any more distance on me. We shut down at about 110 on Roosevelt(Rt 17). I thought he'd pretty much destroy me, but that wasn't the case at all. They were very good races and very close, considering I thought he'd beat my ***.

Then tonight, a yellow 02-03 GT pulled up next to me at a light and started revving. I just rolled my eyes. I took off normal and he took off like a bat out of hell. I stopped at the next light next to him and asked him if he even knew how to drive that thing. Obviously, he really, really sucks at driving if he's going to pick on a sixer.

It's okay though... I have my plans for my car set in stone, and with the job I have lined up after I get out of the Navy, I'll be able to afford my TT setup... oh yeah!

I'm racing him again in a few weeks when I get the duals, CAI, and t-lok. That should make it a photo finish pretty much.
