As a former owner of a 95 GT and a current owner of a 5.7 Hemi Jeep, I would not be so sure. The mods on this 95 GT are really nothing that will give much if any hp gains, basicly a CAI and a bunch of ignition stuff. When I had my 95 it had a CAI, a blaster coil and a MSD distributor and it had a hard time pulling away from my buddies 4.7 litre Jeep. Now I realize that we are talking about a truck here but the comparison is still pretty close when you figure thst the Jeeps are AWD which saps power and there are very heavy (probably pretty close to the pickup). I think this will be a closer race than many of you think.

I agree. When we still had the 300C(before the SRT-8), it ran a couple Edge GTs from a roll and one bone stock LT1 T/A from a dig, and those are prtty heavy cars. From a dig, I think it will be close, and he might even take you. At the fly he almost 100hp on you, a truck load of torque(pun intended) over you, and you have a manual. Not to hard to put a plastic a petal to the floor[:-]
