So Ive been wanting to race someone since I have moved back down to southern Ca. It finally happend today! Here it goes(my first kill post). I am coming back from buying some fathers day gifts when I see a 99-00 black GT pull out to my left. Sounded nice to. Well he was a little ways behind me when the light turned red. He pulls up on my left. No revs, nothing to insue a race. Light turns green, we both start off slow but not letting the other pass. Then I hear him start to acclerate. So I punch it. We are both in 2nd gear. I hit third and so does he at the same time. But then he shifts a split second to early to 4th and I pull a 1/2 a car length ahead! The next light was coming ahead quick so we both slowed down. After the light, is the turn in to my housing track I get over to the turning lane and he drives by and gives me a honk and a wave. I waved back. Good clean race, I think both our cars were evenly matched. I barely won but I was so excited!!! Even if I lost, I know Id have the same feeling in my gut. I am glad it was a mustang too. I don't think I would have the same sastisfaction if it was some rice.

 

Nice race. Yeah even if you don't win by that much or if you lose, it's still a great feeling. Especially when it's a worthy car.

 

hehe nice kill, i bet the bad driver mod on his car makes you feel pretty good about your own driving skills.....
