Whats the deal with the high 12 low 13 quarter mile times? (I am yalking about the supra)

 

He just got the big turbo on.. that is when he had stock twins.. I have seen him run faster than that... but i am not to sure what his best time was with them.. I dont think he has had it to the track with the big turbo on it..

 

ohh and thats not my GT he is racing in the quarter either.. I am the red one at night... And i missed a gear..

 

yeah 13.4 with 114mph trap. I would think with that trap you should be in the 12s.

 

that was outside of boise and everybody there knows you run 1/2 second slower than you would at sea level. I ran 12.74 @118 at Woodburn, OR. and yeah that was on the stock twin setup.

I need to get my launches down with the drag radials and bigger turbo before I can get some good times. If I bog I'll probably run a 13 at 135, lol. If I don't bog hopefully 11's.

That sound more like it even on the stock twins I would have guessed mid 12's. Let us know what he runs when he goes.

The new Z06's can run high 11's or low 12's with 500 hp.

The setup is good for 10's @135ish with the right driver. I'm not going to try that though because I'd eventually bust my diff.

Not much torque down low and tons of HP up top so that's why it runs the same ET as a 500HP V8 but the trap speed is higher.
