3000 GT kill
Well I just had my first victory in my 95 GT. As most of you know I used to own a 98 V6 that I just recently traded in for the old 5.0 and man, what a freeking difference. But yea, yesterday morning, 5:30 AM, on the way to work I was on the on ramp to the interstate doing roughly 45 mph and I see this car swerving behind me and it looks like he's trying to pass me on the on ramp, then when we get onto the insterstate has swerves all the way over into the passing lane, and boy I've been wanting to give some serious payback to ricer flybys that people have done to me in the old sixer, well I'm in third gear and I slam the gas and around 70 I shift to fouth and around 95 mph, I look and he's way behind me, probably 3-4 car lengths behind me, so I feel that I made my point so I shifted to fith and hit the breaks to go back to 70 mph, and he passes me shortly after I hit my breaks and I saw what it was, a Missubisshi 3000 GT. After I got home I was curious about their specs because I figured those things had to be faster than that, turns out, that particular car was about a fast as my old sixer, damn what an idiot, tring to challeng a V8. Only damn 3000 GT that's worth anything is the twin turbo charged version.
5 speed manual with a stock shifter, but the tri ax is on the way, not too sure about my clutch though as even my cousin says that it feels tigher and more responsive than a stock clutch, so it may be an aftermarket, but I'm not sure on this at all. Like I said, I thought all 3000 GTs were pretty quick, but remember, no everybody can afford the high end turbo charged version, just as not everybody can afford a Mustang Cobra, so I consider my odds were pretty good.
Well like I said, I didn't know who or what it was behind me swerving left and right, until after I hit the breaks at 95 mph and a few seconds later he flew by, but until yesterday I didn't know how much of a dog those cars were, seriously, when my old 98 could either keep up with your ***, or beat it, it's time to go outisde and shoot your self, and burn your car before hand.
