READ THE STICKIES!
I know, sorry about that. This thread was originally posted in the '05 section and there WAS no stickys for me to read there. When it got moved here by one of the admins, I checked the section out and saw the info I needed had already been posted.

My bad! [:@]

Best advice for the drags? Trade in for an auto. Ease + Consistancy + No missed shifts = Automatic > Manual @ Dragstrip

But really, what blowngt said is correct.

Just had to stick it to the manuals like they stick it to us. ^_^
auto = handicap =P
shift light also = handicap

keep manual, more control over RPMs, and overall just more fun to play with

driving an auto is like sitting on a park bench... its so boring!

All tracks are different. The one I went to wouldn't let you rice with shorts, you had to have long pants. Luckily they sold some sweat pants. And also, only if you run lower than a 13.5 1/4 mile you need a helmet.

I thought it was 13.99 or faster?
Maybe different tracks have different rules.

So I suppose there were a lot of import owners lined up at the sweatpants booth, eh?
