So I was on my way to Wal-Mart tonight with my little sister and her friend. They wanted to go for what, I dunno. I pull up to this red tiburon (the newest model) he has aftermarket exhaust, intake, stickers, and some oil and water gauges along the driver side of his door haha [&:] Light is red and im sitting there and hes reving up his car at me. My little sister keeps saying no dont race or i'll tell mom and dad. lol. I say ok i wont race, i'll just speed up really fast. Light turns green and we both dump it. First gear i pull ahead, shift into second, then he shifts into second. I'm only at 4000rpms in second gear and hes already shifting to third! I hit third, by the time I get into third i start to apply the brakes a little after, I look back and i'm a little over 4 car lenghts of him lol. I laugh. We pull up at the light in front of WaWa and he gives me a thumbs up 
and i give him one back. Atleast he is a good sport about it. But how much power do those things have? Never really wondered about the V6 Tiburons.

intake huh? xray vision lol. But ya sometimes you can hear it with imports because the intakes are too big, so you can really hear the air. I think a stock v6 tiburon GT runs mid to high 15s. Most ive seen at the track run low 16s.

171/180 and just over 3k lbs, they do the quarter mid 15's in manual, auto is high 15's. Pathetic #'s for a v6 today, but they do respond to mods well...and it burns me that they get duals stock [:@] Them, and the stupid 4-bangers like the TSX, S2K and SRT-4 that get them...a populer mod for the S2K is converting to a single and regaining some power!

ya you could def hear the intake, it was loud as crap. i think the sucking noise is pretty cool but it was loud. really noticable
