finally hit the 13's tonight, woot woot. best previous was 14.2 something. ran a 13.9122 with a 60' of 2.14, hit a 2.08 60' but i only ran 14.0x that run. runnin same tires cooper zeon zpt street tires. only addition since last time was the h-pipe. once i got used to the track hookin well i was running 14.0x and in the high 13's all night. didnt get any trap speeds because their speed sensors were broken and actually one entire lane was down because it got struck by lightning. it was fun fun fun tho. and now im in love with my mustang all over again and no longer really want an ls1

Any positive is a ++++++. Welcome to the world of 13's . I bet it felt good to be out of the 14's. After all it is 2006 and 14's are slow by todays standards.

Hey now, I aint that slow. I've never lost to a ricer, not even my friend with a Eclipse GST. We raced from a 45mph roll and I had him by about 2 cars up til 80mph. He is 5spd and I am auto. He said he ran a 9.01 in the 1/8, so I think I could be around 9 flat, maybe. Unless he is better from a dig, but I figured from a roll he would get me because of my auto and his manual.

JUST A SUGGESTION You could shave a little more time off with better tires nothing wrong with coopers on the street but on the strip I would run a softer compound tire with more contact patch my suggestion for a good price Yokohama A032R had a friend with 94 Cobra and would break tranny mounts at ttrack cause they gripped so hard JUST A SUGGESTION Look into these tires you wont be disappointed
