so my manager at where i work is gettin a srt4 on friday, and i just bought a 98ls1 z28, and well the talk has already started and since everyone at my work is retarded and think tht they kno all there **** about cars and think my car is slow. so my manager challenged me to a race soon, jw how bad should i beat him lol. my car is an a4 by the way and his is the slowest version of it

 

What do you mean by slowest version of the SRT-4? They are very low 14's stock and if theres any mods, like exhaust, intake, he could possibly run 13.8 or so. Your car should win no matter what, unless he has a stage 2 turbo or better. Just race and give him hell.

stock for stock u will kill him by a bus or more. when the get to stage 2 is when you have to worry.

if ur going to mod ur ls1 i would reccomend a lid, cat-back and a stall converter as some of ur first mods. a stall will make a huge difference. i droped a second in the 1/4 with my stall.

 

How high was your stall set at? If a stall would do that for a Stang, than Bharsen would be runnin 12.7 in the 1/4. I doubt it would help a Stang drop a full second.

and its funny too, my boss kept sayin how his car has instant boost and i kno tht they are way better from a roll than a dig but i still wanna race from a roll just to show him whos boss HAHA
